MedSolutions' New ePartner Program links Providers and Payers to increase Managed Care Efficiency NASHVILLE, TN., October 26, 2000 / PR NEWSWIRE / -- MedSolutions announced today the successful launch of its B2B exchange initiative, msiexchange.com. This broad based and multi-phased endeavor provides an online environment for MedSolutions' business partners, or ePartners. MedSolutions' ePartners include managed care clients, network providers, and patients, who will now be able to interact securely and electronically to complete day-to-day, resource intensive tasks that currently take up considerable time. This is part of a continuing effort on the part of MedSolutions to maximize clinical effectiveness and ease the administrative burden for physicians and managed care clients. MedSolutions provides radiology management programs to the managed care industry through such proprietary tools as pre-certification of diagnostic imaging procedures, network management, and physician profiling. The extranet site provides the initial meeting place for information exchange between MedSolutions' ePartners - initially with precert and claims status inquiry (currently available), followed quickly by online precert submission, online provider education initiatives, clinical guidelines, online physician profiling, and online custom reporting for our managed care clients. MedSolutions' full exchange initiative will include real time integration with ePartners' information systems (both physicians and managed care partners) and the expansion of the partner.msiexchange.com site to a full portal. The full portal initiative will include more interactive collaboration with the provider community in the process of clinical decision making, teleradiology, and the development of radiology-focused online consumer communities.
