MedSolutions Adds New Associate Medical Director February 21, 2002 // PR NEWSWIRE// - NASHVILLE, TN. MedSolutions, a leading radiology management services organization, announces the addition of Nancy D. Holland, MD, MSHA, a board-certified radiologist, as part of its growing team of medical directors. The addition comes during a time of rapid expansion for the company, in order to meet the needs of its rising member population. Dr. Holland comes to MedSolutions from Twin County Regional Healthcare in Galax, Virginia, where she has served as Vice President of Medical Affairs since 1999. She has practiced radiology with Diagnostic Radiologists of Galax Radiology since 1982. She was formerly President and Chair of the Board of Directors of Twin County Physicians, a 55-member IPA which she initially organized, from 1995 to 1999. Dr. Holland practiced general diagnostic radiology full-time for 13 years. Dr. Holland holds a Master of Science in Health Administration degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia. She completed her internship and residency in diagnostic radiology at the Medical University of South Carolina in 1981, as well as finishing a fellowship in pediatric radiology in 1982. Dr. Holland earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1977, and completed her B.S. degree in biology at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1973.
