MedSolutions Announces Strategic
Consulting Alliance with June 16, 2001 // PR NEWSWIRE// - Nashville, TN - MedSolutions, a leading radiology management services organization, today announced it has entered into a strategic consulting relationship with C. Ronald Dietrich, a pioneer in the radiology managed care industry. Mr. Dietrich's 25-year healthcare career includes several successful business ventures. He served in senior management and business development capacities for Associated Pathologist Laboratories, which later became Clinical Pathology Facilities. Under Mr. Dietrich's leadership, Clinical Pathology grew to $120 million in annual revenue. Upon Corning Clinical Laboratories' acquisition of Clinical Pathology, Mr. Dietrich was appointed Vice President and General Manager of New Ventures for Corning Life Sciences. It was during this time at Corning Life Sciences that Mr. Dietrich identified an opportunity to manage the utilization and cost of radiology and imaging, an area of medical management that had not been previously addressed by the managed care industry. Mr. Dietrich developed with Corning a new venture, National Imaging Associates (NIA). As President and CEO of NIA for three years, Mr. Dietrich and the team he assembled developed and implemented some of the first radiology management programs in the nation.
