In 2003, Steve Wise joined MedSolutions as Chief Information Officer. Mr. Wise is responsible for the development of information systems strategy, application development and enterprise systems implementation. He brings to MedSolutions a twenty-six year history of information technology experience with a focus on healthcare services, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Mr. Wise founded longView Consulting Services, an IT consulting services provider, by pooling the resources of 25 consultants in the Philadelphia area. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of NovaCare, a $1.7 billion health care staffing and service organization also in Philadelphia. Steve was the Director, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing & Distribution Systems for Ortho McNeil Pharmaceutical, a Division of Johnson & Johnson in New Jersey, where he worked from 1983 to 1993. Mr. Wise graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Computer Technology, and attended Duke University Executive Education. He is a member of Microsoft Healthcare Users Group and the Society of Information Management. In 1999, he received the Certificate of Merit for the Enterprise Value Award by CIO Magazine for using technology to provide meaningful impact on the business.
