Curt Thorne
President and Chief Executive Officer

Curt Thorne joined MedSolutions as President and Chief Operating Officer in 1998, bringing with him strong operations expertise, information technology expertise, and a broad managed care knowledge base. In 2000, he became President and Chief Executive Officer.  In this position at MedSolutions, Mr. Thorne is responsible for company operations, including new business development, profitably managing successful relationships with customers and all functions related to the company’s managed care contracts.

Prior to joining MedSolutions, Mr. Thorne served as President and COO of a California-based specialty physician management company with operations throughout Northern California, Phoenix, Denver and Minneapolis. Mr. Thorne also served in senior management positions with Aetna Healthplans, The Travelers, and CIGNA.

A native of North Carolina, Mr. Thorne earned his masters in business administration from the Babcock School of Management at Wake Forest University and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina.
