We view the customers participating in our program as partners in the delivery of quality healthcare services. To support these partnerships, MedSolutions locates experienced Account Managers in regional field offices near our client healthplans. Our goal is to give our customers unlimited access to MedSolutions’ staff and services.

Your Local Partner
Our Account Managers function as partners to both payors and providers, assessing needs and responding quickly to meet those needs. They monitor program performance towards meeting customer expectations, and mobilize resources when necessary to meet needs and expectations.

We believe the Account Manager’s role is one of service and communication, with the ultimate goal being to ensure continued customer satisfaction. Our Account Managers work diligently to:

  • Streamline the administration of radiology management services

  • Facilitate provider education

  • Conduct joint meetings with the healthplan to ensure continued customer satisfaction

  • Develop and maintain partnerships between providers, MedSolutions, and client healthplans.

Maura Brady, Director of Account Management for the Western Region Arizona, Nevada, Washington

Maura Brady joined MedSolutions as an account manager in October 2001. She has over nine years of experience as an account manager, and six years as a sales manager with pharmacy benefit management and retail/mail pharmacy programs. She has worked with PCS Health Systems and Walgreen's Health Initiatives, and she was a trainer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of California. Maura received her BS in Physiology from the University of California at Berkeley.

Maureen Collins, Director of Account Management in Arizona

Maureen Collins brings over 15 years of management experience to MedSolutions, including her most recent position as Director of Operations for e|Q|Care, where she was responsible for managing client services, claims operations and provider relations for the managed health care market. Formerly client services manager for NDC Health Information Services, she led the effort in bringing new software products for the pharmacy market into automated production. Collins also served as the director of public relations for fourteen automobile franchises.

Collins holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from a demanding executive management program that included studying all business disciplines. She completed her studies with honors, earning a certificate in International Management and Marketing from the Netherlands.

Patrick Dawson, Director of Account Management for the Northeast  Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire

Patrick Dawson joined MedSolutions in December 2000. He previously worked for Magellan Specialty Health of Sunrise, Florida.  Patrick has over seven years of managed care experience working with health plans and providers. A native of Massachusetts, Patrick graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ in 1987 with a degree in Business Economics. He also earned a Masters degree in Public Administration from American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Kathy Flitcraft, Director of Client Implementations

Kathy Flitcraft became an account manager for MedSolutions in October 2001. During the five years prior to joining MedSolutions, she was an account manager for Magellan Health Services, responsible for provider relations, claims, and customer service. Formerly, Kathy served as director of operations for CARE Programs, a division of Spectera, Inc., which specialized in providing utilization management programs to self-insured employer groups. 

Kathy began her 25-year career in the healthcare industry working for a gynecological practice in Baltimore, Maryland, where she was ultimately responsible for managing the day-to-day operations while maintaining the delivery of efficient and quality-oriented healthcare services.

Theresa McCarthy-Sayer, Director of Account Management for the Southwest: Texas

Theresa McCarthy-Sayer joined MedSolutions in April 2002 as director of account management. Theresa began her healthcare career in 1991 with Prudential Healthcare, where her experience included managing Customer Service and Marketing Departments in San Antonio and Dallas, Texas. Her last position with Prudential was in Provider Relations where she served as a contract analyst responsible for various ancillary and hospital contracts. Theresa also worked for Theraphysics Corp, a PT/OT, SNF and home health company. At Theraphysics she held positions as national director of contracting, regional director of managed care, and network manager. Theresa holds a BBA in Business Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
